Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree in Statistics, Nursing, Public Health, any health-related discipline, or social science discipline (for Research Associate) OR a Bachelor's degree in abovementioned fields (for Research Assistant); (ii) at least four years' post-qualification relevant work experience (for Research Associate); (iii) excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills; (iv) experience in co-ordinating research projects and preparing reports; and (v) good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Applicants with statistical and medical knowledge will be advantageous. Applicants with less relevant experience will be considered for the post of Research Assistant.
Duties include (a) liaising with project stakeholders; (b) conducting data collection in clinical settings and assisting in data analysis; (c) coordinating clinic operation; (d) providing administrative assistance in project reports and documents preparation; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or his delegate(s).
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
