Description
The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care is inviting passionate talent to join its multidisciplinary research team focused on a large-scale physical activity promotion program for chronic disease management.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above with two years' post-qualification work experience, preferably in Public Health, Social Science or any related disciplines; (ii) good communication skills; (iii) good organisational skills; and (iv) strong initiatives and teamwork spirit. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and statistical software (e.g. SPSS) is preferred. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. Immediate availability will be advantageous.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) coordinating a project related to physical activity; (b) interacting with patients with chronic diseases (hypertension and diabetes); (c) participants' recruitment and interviews; (d) administering surveys and interviews; (e) data management and analysis; (f) drafting research report; and (g) other research and administrative duties as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
