- Lead the Project Management Office to implement various projects with good quality;
- Work with Group to formulate IT policies and standards;
- Assist in uplifting the current process, practices and standards of the IT department to ensure compliance to the group requirements;
- Collaborate with various departments and/or external business partners to implement strategic, technology and business innovation projects;
- Review business processes and recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, business performance, etc.;
- Assist the division head / department head / supervisor to deliver project management, strategic planning and implementation support for key projects / initiatives;
- Lead projects throughout project life cycle by accomplishing key tasks including business proposal, project planning, budget and resources control, progress monitoring, risk management, quality assurance, etc.;
- Assist in defining project governance structure and contribute to continuous improvement activities;
- Work with Group to figure out right fit enterprise architecture for the company;
- Evaluate, design, review and approve the solution and enterprise architecture design for new project initiatives;
- Handle vendors, negotiate contracts and run procurement processes to provide suitable and efficient IT solutions to meet business requirements;
- Perform other duties at the request of the division head / department head / supervisor.
- Bachelor degree holder in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology or related subjects;
- At least 15 years' working experience in project management or related areas in insurance/finance industry with successful track records;
- At least 5 years' work experience in solution architecture design at an enterprise level;
- Certification on project management (e.g. PMP, PMI-ACP) is highly preferred;
- Strong organisational skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and implement initiatives / projects;
- Able to work well with superiors, co-workers and external stakeholders;
- Capable of working independently and proactive to work on the projects.
- Experience leading sophisticated projects with cross company integrations and large scale platform rollout;
- Experience with leading teams across multiple business units and inter-company workforces;
- Able to communicate with and present to senior key team members effectively;
- Good experience in leading a PMO with a group of project managers;
- Proven experience in architectural and solution design for large/medium size financial companies;
- A good know how of the latest tech stack and be able to apply in actual implementation;
- Able to work with other team members to formulate and deploy IT Governance in the IT department;
- Strong experience in managing technology vendors;
- Strong project management and people management skills;
- Proven knowledge on general insurance, regulations and technology trend;
- Strong sense of responsibility in completing tasks on time with quality deliverables;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with good business judgment;
- A self-starter with strong organisational and presentation skills;
- Good spoken and writing skills in both English & Chinese;
