With my promotion to Head Teacher at my center, I have led a team of three other teachers and acted as the primary communicator between senior management and teaching staff at my center. In my role, I have instituted a collaborative management style, encouraging open communication and valuing contributions. This has led to a workplace with a streamlined system of communication and improved functioning. This promotion has allowed me to develop my delegation and problem management skills. JANUARY 2022 - AUGUST 2022
ENGLISH TEACHER AT LEARNING CENTER
I began my teaching journey in January, coaching children aged 2-12 in a variety of curriculums including Phonics, Cambridge, and Trinity. As an English teacher, I demonstrated timeliness in my administrative responsibilities, and at times, assumed the responsibilities of headteacher. Further to this, I have gone above and beyond with students, prioritizing the betterment of their language understanding and educational experience. I am passionate about cultivating relationships with my students, prioritizing their emotional, as well as educational needs, and furthering my own teaching experience.

I was fortunate to be exposed to some of the world's leading political thinkers, who aided me in writing a distinction-earning dissertation on China-Africa relations that aimed to reject Western-centric biases. Overall, I earned a distinction in my postgraduate degree with a converted GPA of 4.0.
