Major Duties
:
(a) To perform teaching duties including delivery of lectures, tutorials, seminars and practical sessions, setting and marking students' assessments and other academic activities; (b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; (c) To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; (d) To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; (e) To participate in networking with industry and sourcing industrial attachments, and (f) To attend meetings to provide recommendations and suggestions on the development and improvement of the training programmes

Requirement s :

(a) A recognised degree in Chinese Medicine, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; (b) At least 3 years' relevant teaching and/or industry experience; (c) With solid Chinese medicine clinical experience, familiar with acupuncture, TuiNa, Chinese medicine beauty, etc., and operational management of Chinese medicine clinics would be an advantage; (d) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; (e) Good work initiative, interpersonal and organisation skills; and (f) Candidates should be a Registered Chinese medicine practitioner of the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong.

Notes :

(1) Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Part-time (Daytime) Assistant Lecturer in the rank of "Teaching Associate". (2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. (3) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
