We believe in the value of empowering our Actuarial Specialist with the resources to enhance and achieve our business performance objectives for the future of our business which is why we need you.This pivotal role plays a crucial part in delivering accurate and timely financial and management reporting results for key external and internal stakeholders while also uncovering valuable business insights to drive our financial success.
The successful candidate will join a team of professional actuary/actuarial students to deliver IFRS 17 reporting requirements including reserves drivers of earnings analysis contractual service margin CSM new business CSM analysis other group requirements assigned lines businesses
Required qualifications include degree holder reasonable progress towards attainment professional actuarial qualifications solid actuarial knowledge experience valuation financial reporting product pricing experience IFRS 17 direct life insurer plus strong analytical problem solving skills ability work complex financial issues concepts paying attention details technical/modeling skills knowledge or experience Microsoft Access VBA Python PowerBI Qlik AXIS asset effective individual contributor team player able deliver results pressure deadlines good communication relationship skills English spoken written leadership project stakeholder management coordination skills willing lead encourage support develop junior colleagues
