- Participate in acquisition finance transactions for financial sponsor and corporate clients in Greater China, including but not limited to:
- Pitching clients for financing ideas, and preparing marketing pitches and client presentation materials
- Performing in-depth credit risk analysis: business description, industry review, competitive positioning, SWOT analysis etc.
- Detailed Financial analysis: historical performance review, financial forecast and free cash flow analysis, familiar with leveraged buyout (LBO) and merger models, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, returns analysis, and other valuation methods
- Assisting internal credit process in line with the policies and requirements of UOB, including reviewing/ negotiating legal documentation: commitments papers and credit agreements etc..
- Act as an integral part of the CF team to identify opportunities to cross sell the suite of UOB GIB products (DCM, ECM, M&A and Project Finance etc.)
- Degree educated within finance, mathematics, economics or business preferred
- Minimum 4-8 years of previous experience in: Corporate/ Commercial baking/Leveraged finance / structured finance / corporate finance / investment banking M&A
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and a team player
