    The Opportunity

    Data & analytics play a critical role in our business. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our Data Analytics team who will play a vital role in uncovering insights of different functions areas within our pension business to enable functional stakeholders to make data-driven decision.

    Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (including such as sales, servicing, marketing, finance, call centre, etc) to formulate analytics use cases and data-driven solutions which will bring optimal value to our pension business
  • Develop and execute analytics use cases roadmap, deliverables and KPIs
  • Present complex analytical findings and insights to different levels of stakeholders (mostly non-technical) through development of interactive and multi-dimensional dashboards, and presentations
  • Lead and guide data engineer and data scientist for pipeline development, data platform migration, predictive modelling and machine learning, etc in alignment with business priorities
  • Work with IT/data architecture/engineer to deep dive into granular data and extract data for analysis, support data governance and data platform migration
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis within short turnaround time
  • We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics and Statistics, or related fields
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in data analytics and data development, preferably within the insurance and financial sector. Experience in MPF and pension business is a plus
  • Proven track record in delivering impactful data-driven solutions end-to-end, from data exploration from scratch to final visualization, following by insight sharing and recommendation/solutions
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Excel/VBA, Python programming and familiar with Spark/PySpark/Databricks/Hive. Also other data analytics visualization tools such as PowerBI, Power Automate, Power App, etc.
  • Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, etc)
  • Hands-on experience in building generalized linear models, Deep learning models, clustering, text analytics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in particularly able to convey complex data finding/insights to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work independently under pressure and tight timeline.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and project mangement skills. Self-initiative, proactive and can-do attitude as an individual and a team player and result oriented
  • Strong knowledge in data governance and data quality principles
  • Good at data modeling, artificial intelligence/machine learning and cloud environment. Demonstrate ability to learn other and new analytics and visualization tools/technologies
