- Develop features for visualizing and interacting with data and knowledge at scale
- Collaborate with UX designers to comprehend requirements and create front-end web components
- Contribute to design efforts and develop web applications using React, including reusable UI components in a modularized approach
- Engage in agile collaboration with engineers, data scientists, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling UI/UX functionality
- Design new visualization methods for complex multi-dimensional data sets
- Follow best practices in Design Thinking and User-Centric principles
- Participate in stakeholder evaluations, address external customer requests, and design needs efficiently
- 4+ years of front-end engineering and design experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript libraries, tooling, and frameworks, especially React
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies
- Solid understanding of software design and architecture
- Experience in developing web applications with HTML, DOM, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of software development best practices for code management, continuous integration, and automated testing
- Problem-solving mindset and a keen interest in technology
- Hands-on experience with React
- Focus on creating reusable React components
- 3+ years of experience with React framework
- Proficiency in visual design tools such as Adobe Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, InVision, or Figma
- Ability to translate placeholder designs into functioning products
