- Plan, develop and execute on project plans, schedules and deliverables as per agreed scope, timeline and budgets
- Work with local and regional underwriting, operations and any other supporting teams to understand and implement process improvement in the end-to-end process, policy lifecycle, and systems across single or multiple lines of business
- Provide or assist in carrying out analysis and recommendations for enhancement or changes to streamline, redesign and/or optimize processes, operations, procedures, systems and other change management areas
- Facilitate meetings and discussions with various stakeholders in developing and reviewing business requirements, application workflow / system enhancement areas to address business users' needs and get their input and agreement on the recommended changes
- Identify opportunities for improvement, provide support and/or be involved in business improvement initiatives to effect change across the business and operations teams to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the business model
- Prepare and manage project documentation and reports, including as-is & to-be process flow
- Conduct regular status meetings to manage progress against the project plan and present status reports to management, project sponsors and other stakeholders as required
- Lead two P&C Business Analyst
- Support business users on change requests and system usage issues when required to ensure overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of process and system enhancement.
- Attend product / system training as necessary and assess new features for use by P&C team
- Any other duties and projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree holder in any discipline
- At least 6 years' experience in project management and business analysis, and preferably with underwriting and/or operations experience in General Insurance industry
- Self-Motivation, self-discipline, team-player and individual able to work independently
- Ability to multitask, flexible, able to manage quick demands, change of priorities.
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint with strong presentation skills – ability to present at different levels and using various tools.
- Proven ability for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken in Cantonese and English
- Candidate with more experience will be Senior Project Manager
