As a Fund Accountant, you will have the unique chance to work with a team of industry professionals and gain invaluable experience in the private equity sector.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, investor reports, and capital call notices in compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards.
Support the fund accounting functions, including cash and position reconciliations, Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, and expense accruals.Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of fund performance and financial information.
Assist in monitoring and analyzing fund operations, such as cash flows, investor capital activity, and investment valuations.Contribute to the maintenance of accounting records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as required, gaining exposure to various aspects of the private equity fund operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Prior experience or internships in fund accounting or related roles is a plus.
