- Review the balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Manage the daily financial operation i.e. AP, AR, payments
- Promptly address any exceptions found in the reconciliations
- Identify any internal control weaknesses based on the reconciliation analysis
- Work with stakeholders to address reconciliation exceptions or variances
- Participate in projects, such as automating transaction matching, and provide input for process and system enhancements
- Assist in ad hoc projects and tasks when required
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business preferred
- Professional qualified accountant and member of HKICPA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience in the insurance industry, preferably life insurance accounting experience
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Familiar with the operation of accounting system/software
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
