    The Office of StudentAffairs (OSA) is responsible for the provision of desirable services forstudents of the University and enhancing their learning experience. We are seeking a Senior Manager who isexperienced and dynamic to lead our Wellness Promotion and Financial SupportDivision . The appointee will join ateam that is committed to promoting whole-person development and fostering avibrant campus life for students.

    Responsibilities


    • Lead the Counselling Team and Physical Education Team in the development and implementation of strategies and programmes to promote well-being awareness, including the implementation of the special educational needs (SEN) caring scheme

    • Lead the Scholarships & Financial Team in formulating policies and regulations governing different types of student financial support schemes

    • Develop policies and guidelines to ensure the effective delivery of wellness and financial support services

    • Liaise with internal units and external parties, both locally and internationally, to introduce physical fitness and health promotion programmes to the campus

    • Offer advice to other OSA teams supporting students with special educational needs, particularly on physical impairment and mobility deficiency

    • Collaborate with university departments and external partners to promote student wellness and financial support

    • Represent the University to serve in the related organisations as competition convenor and/or member of the relevant committee(s)

    • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of professionals and support staff

    • Monitor and evaluate the division's performance and make recommendations for improvement

    • Act as a secretary of the University committee(s) as necessary

    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

    The appointee will be requiredto work outside normal office hours and on weekends if necessary.

    Requirements


    • A recognised degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Rehabilitation Medicine or related disciplines

    • At least 10 years' post-qualification experience, with at least 6 years at the executive level, preferably in the tertiary institutions or public sector

    • A sound knowledge and proven track record in handling student affairs, particularly in the areas of wellness and financial support

    • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of professionals

    • A good command of written and verbal English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

    • An excellent mastery of logical thinking, analytical, interpersonal, communication, coordination, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills

    • A strong sense of self-motivation, responsibility, and teamwork relation

    • A high calibre to work under tight timelines with a positive attitude

    • A great interest in pairing up with young people to achieve shared goals
