    Key Purpose of Role:

    The Regional Marketing Manager at Warner Music Asia is a pivotal role responsible for leading all frontline marketing and promotional activities for regional artists across Asia.

    This position is tasked with formulating and implementing innovative marketing strategies to enhance the profiles of our artists in Asia and tell their unique stories. A deep understanding of the digital landscape and the specific nuance of the Asian market is crucial for the success of these strategies.

    The role involves managing multiple projects, markets, and relationships, with the goal of increasing our artists' market share and establishing them as the superstars of tomorrow.

    Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop creative marketing and promotion strategies for Warner Music Regional artists, focusing on improving market share and revenue from key digital service providers (DSPs)
  • Work on a rolling 3-month strategy for Asia's priority artists, aimed at developing and building their presence in the region
  • Deliver on monthly streaming goals to enhance company market share and revenue from key DSPs via the success of regional Asia artists
  • Identify key markets for our regional artists and collaborate with local Warner Music Offices to develop the artists' profiles
  • Maintain constant communication with label stakeholders to anticipate and plan for upcoming product launches
  • Drive seamless communication between all label partners and Warner Music Affiliates
  • Efficiently manage marketing budgets in collaboration with the Finance Team
  • Handle paid media, assets coordination, and ads execution for global digital platforms
  • Liaise with Global Marketing and Regional New Business, Brand Partnerships and Sync Licensing teams for maximum exposure of WM Asia wholly-owned and distributed artists
  • Analyze and package regular post-mortem on marketing plans, promotional trips, and concert tours to refine future strategies and decision-making
  • Determine and execute Promo Tour opportunities aligned with regional objectives, overseeing logistics and marketing plans pre, during, and post-tour
  • Establish marketing partnerships for concerts, artist promotions, and market visits
  • Observe new marketing ideas and recommend local implementation where applicable
  • Act as a strong communicator across different business functions to elevate marketing plans for our artists
  • About you:

  • University graduate in Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the music industry or product marketing, online marketing, or advertising agency environment, preferably in the entertainment industry
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and drive towards business results
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management, with a strong capability to oversee and optimize marketing budgets efficiently
  • Proficient in data analysis, with a proven track record of utilizing data insights to inform and enhance marketing strategies
  • Highly comfortable and experienced with paid media, including planning, execution, and analysis of paid advertising campaigns across various digital platforms
  • Dynamic and effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong partnerships locally, regionally, and globally
  • Organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and flexible
  • Skilled in multitasking, with strong capabilities in planning, organization, time management, and prioritization
  • Passionate about music, especially international repertoire, with experience in a regional team considered a plus
