DescriptionThe appointee(s) will act as the Project Coordinator of the research projects in collaboration with the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) about the assessment and injury prevention for elite athletes.
He/she will be responsible for (a) ensuring effective co-ordination and execution of risk assessment, injury prevention and rehabilitation programs; (b) communicating with coaches and athletes to work out the schedule for the program; (c) writing proposals and reports; and (d) other ad hoc assignments.
The appointee(s) will work at the Hong Kong Sport Institute.Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in physiotherapy, sport sciences, biomedical science or related fields; (ii) at least 4 years' work experience in clinical/ human research; (iii) strong interpersonal and communication skills with a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency in Cantonese); (iv) strong project management and problem-solving skills; and (vi) the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a multi-tasking environment and as a good team member.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance.
