    Our client is a top tier Global Capital market's Holding company providing a wide range of financial products and services such as Japanese stockbroking, fixed income products, debt syndicate, bond issuing and M&A advisory services to corporate and wholesale clients in the Asia-Pacific region excluding Japan.

    Exciting new role for you

    • You will perform the middle office functions for Japan Equity products in accordance with internal policies and procedures within the established deadlines.
    • Perform post-trade processing such as pre-matching, allocation and sending preliminary confirmations to clients and monitor and ensure timely and accurate allocations for equity trades.
    • You also establish and maintain contacts with clients and other parties involved with trade allocation.
    • It is important to liaise with the potential clients for the "On-boarding Process" and be responsible for the overall account management.
    • Also expected to analyze internal operations and always seek ways to improve work flows through automation or other methods.
    • You will help to minimize operational, monetary, and reputational risk to the firm by creating and supporting a thoroughly procedurally-compliant environment.
    • You will work on Japanese holiday schedule

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Middle or Back Office within a sizeable Bank Securities / Brokerage firms in HK.
    • Japanese language skill is not a must but strong advantage, must to speak fluent English
    • University degree holder in business, finance, accounting or relevant discipline.
    • Good understanding of the complex and evolving workflow within the sales and trading environment.
    • Solid understanding of processing cycle for Japan or other equities.
    • Ability to manage trading risks and the escalation process effectively and timely.
    • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel).
    • With ability to work independently with little supervision.
    • Customer focus with ability to collaborate and gain consensus across multiple business partners.
