The marketing communications team has expanded in the last few years, and we are now looking for a seasoned professional to lead the strategy end‑to‑end (positioning, planning, and performance) to attract, engage, and grow or convert supporters.

Responsibilities
- Drive overall marketing and engagement strategy to grow donations
+ - Strengthen cross‑team cohesion ensuring priorities resources messaging are aligned across Membership/CRM Fundraising Community Education
+ Oversight of Branding Content Marketing Strategy Multi‑Channel Execution Lead organisation's brand strategy safeguarding positioning tone of voice message consistency across all public touchpoints Oversee content strategy storytelling that translate SPCA mission values animal welfare impact into compelling narratives for diverse audiences Direct multi channel marketing execution digital social email/CRM PR media events with focus on performance optimisation funnel conversion supporter growth Champion SPCA thought leadership shaping narratives around animal welfare pet inclusivity responsible pet ownership sector insights Provide umbrella leadership external strategy engagement strengthening SPCA presence community broader ecosystem Expand collaboration community groups corporate partners industry stakeholders academic institutions government bodies deepen impact extend reach Position SPCA trusted partner destination learning advocacy collaboration public participation Qualification Degree in Marketing Communications Business related discipline recognised institution Requirements Over 10 years senior experience integrated marketing communications including brand leadership content strategy digital performance analytics public relations NGO experience an advantage Proven success designing executing scaling omni channel campaigns measurable ROI awareness engagement membership/donor growth event participation revenue outcomes Strong digital performance marketing capability SEO SEM paid social email CRM journeys analytics experimentation marketing operations Exceptional writing editing skills translate complex technical animal welfare topics compelling accessible public narratives Experienced team leader track record motivating multidisciplinary teams managing events agencies vendors creative partners Strategic communicator advisor confident engaging senior leadership managing crises/issues shaping organisation wide messaging Excellent stakeholder management problem solving ability cross functional collaboration skills Strong network media creator KOL industry contacts highly advantageous Resilient proactive hands on plan prioritise deliver pressure meet deadlines Fluent written spoken English Cantonese Putonghua an advantage Proficient Microsoft Office modern marketing tools analytics platforms Genuine passion animal welfare alignment SPCA mission values
