    Position Overview


    As a Frontend Developer at OneDragonPay, you'll be a key player in building our next-generation payment platform from the ground up. You will architect and implement the critical user interfaces that millions of users will trust for their daily transactions. Your work will directly impact the user experience of our checkout flows, merchant dashboards, and secure payment portals. You'll focus on creating interfaces that are not only intuitive and visually appealing but also highly secure and performant.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop Core Payment Features: Build, test, and maintain user-facing components for our core payment platform, including checkout pages, transaction histories, and merchant dashboards, using , React, and Tailwind CSS.
    • API Integration: Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate with our payment APIs, ensuring real-time and accurate data synchronization for transactions, balances, and user authentication.
    • Implement Ironclad Security: Enforce industry-leading security standards on the frontend. This includes input sanitization, CSRF protection, and ensuring all user flows comply with financial regulations and PCI-DSS standards to safeguard sensitive user data.
    • Optimize for Performance: Engineer highly performant and resilient interfaces that deliver a smooth, reliable checkout experience, even under high transaction volumes.
    • Build for Scale: Design and implement robust, scalable solutions that can support our growing user base and accommodate future feature expansions with clean, well-documented code.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within an agile team alongside product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, production-ready code.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of professional experience building modern web applications with and React.
    • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
    • Demonstrated experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks.
    • Experience with complex state management using tools like Redux or Zustand, particularly for handling application states like transaction statuses and user authentication.
    • Proven ability to implement responsive designs and optimize frontend performance for a seamless mobile and desktop experience.
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling financial data.
    • Experience working effectively in agile development environments.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience building frontend applications for payment gateways, e-commerce checkouts, banking, or other fintech products.
    • A strong eye for UI/UX, with experience creating intuitive and trustworthy interfaces for financial transactions.
    • Experience with system architecture design, such as micro-frontends, for large-scale applications.
    • Familiarity with internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) to support a global user base.
    • Experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
