    What you will be responsible for:
    Air Network Design, Air Network Planning & Implementation
    oDevelop and implement strategies for efficient end-to-end air/ground freight operations, including planning cargo loads, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely deliveries.
    oAnalyze and optimize air freight networks to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
    oAssess and manage cargo capacity to meet demand, considering factors such as aircraft capacity, scheduling, and seasonal fluctuations.

    Liaison with Field Ops Managing International Air Linehaul, Strategic Network Alliances, Business Planning, Program & Project Management, Business Continuity/ Crisis Management Leadership.
    oWork closely with airlines, ground handlers, customs authorities, and other stakeholders to coordinate and streamline air freight operations .
    oStay informed about international air freight regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
    oIdentify areas for improvement in processes and systems and implement changes to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency.

    Operations Research, Product Launches, Quality Design Management, Service Quality, Ops Excellence, Operations Technology & Systems, Process Compliance .
    oUtilize and implement technology solutions, such as cargo management systems and tracking tools, to enhance operational efficiency and visibility.
    oIdentify potential risks in air freight operations and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

    You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Relevant experience in air freight planning, logistics, or a related field is typically required. Experience with international logistics is often an asset.
  • A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, system engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field is often required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for assessing and optimizing air freight operations.
  • Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with diverse stakeholders and conveying complex information clearly.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and technology tools used in air freight planning and logistics.
  • Understanding of international air freight regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Given the precision required in air freight operations, attention to detail is critical to avoid errors and ensure smooth cargo movements.
  • The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, such as weather disruptions, regulatory changes, or unexpected events, is important in the dynamic field of air freight planning and engineering
