- Investigate material/garment/technical opportunities for improved performance and Sustainability – for today and tomorrows consumer
- Develop new and innovative solutions for performance apparel concepts – through fibers, material, and garment manufacturing methods
- Bring ideas and inspiring concepts to the table on a regular basis, based on your research and input for the research team and translate to our future consumer's needs (3-4 ideas per quarter/year)
- Ensure costing parameters are considered when advancing innovations
- Support the development of Innovations from concept stage through to commercialization
- Work with Product Development both at headquarters and PGS to execute material/garment/technical innovations ensure a clean 'handover' of innovations to the inline businesses
- Visit tradeshows within the textile arena and beyond to build up a portfolio of new inspiration
- Carry out assignments at the discretion of your line manager
- Degree in Textile / Fashion / Clothing related discipline
- Minimum 7-10 years' relevant experience in Apparel industry
- Knowledge of spinning, Knitting, Dyeing & Finishing would be a distinct advantage
- Have an awareness of Circularity and Sustainability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative, flexible with entrepreneurial mindset
- Good command of English
