Executive Director, Working Capital Advisory Sales, Global Transaction Banking, Asia PacificCountry: Hong KongThis is a regional role with focus to enhance origination capacity and skills, provide financial and other advisory origination to clients, and spearhead the origination of new products and working capital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
. Work with the GTB Corporate Sales and the wider GTB team to achieve quantitative and qualitative performance objectives.
. Provide value added origination capacity and to take lead in origination where there is additional value. Focus on strategic advisory discussion and business planning with clients, including balance sheet and working capital analysis, ESG / DSG analysis, market research, pitches and marketing materials.
. To act as the primary introducer, educator, and initial lead originator for new products, especially how these solutions can complement each other as a total solution to clients that fulfils requirements and uncover clients' needs. Closely work with internal stakeholders (e.g. Risks, Product Specialists) to ensure that the deal flow is being achieved and executed.
. To engage and lead sector / industry research and related solutions.
. To share best practices and key market developments across the wider GTB Asia team, educate and train the wider team to support origination efforts.
Basic Requirements
. Over years of relevant experience as frontline GTB sales/product specialist with wide product knowledge in both trade, working capital solutions and cash management products. Experience with handling MNCs and Asia Corporates and product knowledge on supply chain solutions are necessary. Relevant/ concrete experience dealing with C-suite level is an advantage.
. Sound market knowledge of client's requirements, product capabilities and market positioning of peer competitors. Experience in sector / industry research and solutions is an advantage.
. Strong in business origination, structuring and execution capabilities.
. Self-motivating and positive can-do attitude towards budget pressure and internal process complexity. Independent, collaborative, and entrepreneurial mind-set with strong team spirits.
. Good credit analytical and presentation skills.
. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires close contacts and cooperation with different stakeholders (Risks, Legal, Sales, and Relationship Manager).
. Available to travel within Asia Pacific region for business development purposes.
