- Carry out ETL processes to perform data migration.
- Perform data quality checking to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data.
- Conduct health checks to identify and resolve and issues or discrepancies in the data migration process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data mapping requirements and implement efficient and accurate data transformations.
- Coordinate the loading of information back to the data warehouse, ensuring it is done correctly and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the data migration plan, ensuring data quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize data quality and improve the overall efficiency of the data migration process.
- Minimum 3 years as a Data Engineer, or related.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is a must. Mandarin is an added bonus.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating ETL processes for data migration.
- Strong experience in Oracle, SQL (Oracle SQL, MS SQL, etc.), and Python.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
