As the Tech Director - Exchange Platform Setup, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of our exchange platform launch. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure, systems, and processes necessary to ensure a secure, scalable, and efficient exchange platform. Your expertise in exchange platforms, combined with your strong leadership skills, will enable you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive the successful launch of our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical setup and development of exchange platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the technical architecture, infrastructure, and system requirements for the platform.
• Oversee the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support the exchange platform's functionality, scalability, and security.
• Manage a team of developers and technical professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and partners to optimize the platform's performance and ensure seamless integration of various systems.
• Conduct regular assessments of the platform's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to exchange platforms and financial technology, incorporating relevant advancements into the platform's development roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, compliance, and operations, to ensure successful platform launch and ongoing operational excellence.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience (minimum of 8 years) in software development, with a focus on exchange platforms and financial technology.
• Proven track record of successfully setting up and launching exchange platforms, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Strong technical expertise in areas such as distributed systems, cloud computing, security protocols, and database management.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, and experience with relevant technologies and frameworks (e.g., blockchain, microservices).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire technical professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to exchange platforms and financial services.
