Major Duties

: (a) Audio and Video control during campus events, seminars, meetings and visits; (b) Hardware maintenance of AV equipment in Lecture Theatres, classrooms, and special rooms; (c) Technical setup and rehearsals during campus events; (d) Liaison with contractors on equipment installation, repairs and commissioning for campus venues; (e) General monitoring duties for accreditation exercises, forums and webinars; (f) Procurement of AV consumables, maintain and upkeep inventory in studios and workshops; (g) Servicing of equipment at Staff Production Workshop; (h) Responding to staff and student enquiries, and equipment loans at workshop; (i) Assist with fault-report and diagnostics in teaching / meeting venues; (j) Production services for photography coverage of campus events, and visits; (k) Portrait photography for staff photo album, special publicity photo projects, and industry executives (for dept. publications); and (l) Post-production editing.

Requirements : (a) A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Multimedia, IT or relevant discipline; (b) At least 2 years' relevant work experience; (c) Good IT knowledge in administration and server based application setup; (d) Knowledge in system development on PHP, C#, APACHE and MySQL in Windows based environment would be an advantage; (e) Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and (f) Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as a team member

Notes : (1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. (2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and/or work on shift.
