Overview

One top Chinese bank in Hong Kong is achieving high stability and rapid development in the international network. Now they're looking for a senior candidate who has solid experience in Derivative clearing to set up the team as senior manager.

Role duties

• As the senior manager in this function, you will oversee the daily operations of the derivative clearing desk, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the clearing and settlement processes.
• Create and implement control frameworks, policies and procedures to identify, monitor and mitigate risks inherent in the business.
• Work with client departments to facilitate client acquisitions.
• Ensure proper controls and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements for related services.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with derivative clearing activities, including counterparty credit risk, operational risk, and market risk.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clearing counterparties, including clearinghouses, banks, and brokers.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Banking, Accounting or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience focused on CCP's derivatives clearing function, 5 years of experience at a regulatory level preferred
• Experience in HKEX or global market clearing will be highly advantage
• Ability to lead and develop a team
• Knowledge of relevant banking regulations and risk management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
