    The Role:

    Ever since, we have expanded rapidly across the APAC region in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, India, and South Korea and continue to have very ambitious growth plans in new markets for 2023 and beyond.

    The Inventory Manager APAC is the subject matter expert on the regional inventory management with 3PL service provider and will be able to provide a short and long-term view of the stock position to all teams so that they are aware of products at risk, delays in stock deliveries, when new products are landing, and any items that are over-stocked. Key priorities will be to ensure best availability in both regional warehouse in Hong Kong and cross border warehouses in China, flexing the stock holding strategy based on the latest market intelligence and demand forecasts.

    We are looking for someone with experience in managing stock across multiple warehouses and who understands the complexities of a global supply chain. This person must also be an excellent communicator and relationship builder internally and externally, who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into operational detail, but can also work strategically to overcome long-term challenges in a fast-growing business.

    Role Accountabilities:

    Own the regional stock availability metric at all warehouses across APAC, ensuring that constrained supply products are shared between the sites for best availability everywhere.

  • As a primary point of contact to 3PL to build and maintain effective business relationship.
  • rack and monitor warehouse operations end-to-end, work closely with Customer Supply Chain, Logistics team and 3PL to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining SLA.
  • Lead and take initiative with 3PL for SOPs maintenance and remediation process to meet agreed SLA and deadline.
  • Build monthly stock movement forecast and activity forecasts to share with the regional DCs to allow our 3PLPs to resource plan and execute our requirements on time and to budget.
  • Streamline the inventory management process with regional insight and global process guideline with Global Inventory team.
  • Manage Regional Inventory Controller, guide and discover innovative methods to ensure continual improvements on inventory accuracy.
  • Work to minimise stock losses ensuring all adjustments are recorded with accurate root cause assigned and within acceptable tolerances.
  • Manage and report on the periodic inventory counts and the annual inventory counts for all stock locations in the region.
  • Acts as the focal point with 3PL for coordinating the festive co-packing projects with Supply Planning team
  • Coordinate with Procurement team for 3PL tender and Business System team for implementation

  • Supporting the APAC Commercial function as the regional stock SME

  • Reporting into the Regional Supply Chain lead
  • Supporting the regional sales functions as the first of point of contact on order management queries.
  • Requirements

  • A strong educational background
  • 3PL experience
  • A strong educational background
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar multi-site inventory management role
  • Experience working with logistics providers and able to demonstrate experience in driving operational performance improvement.
  • Able to demonstrate real examples of taking ownership of projects/improvements right through to the end result.
  • Showing outstanding attention to detail, identifying, and addressing anomalies quickly
  • Understanding and commercial awareness of the total supply chain including supply and demand planning.
  • Experience with an ERP, WMS and POS system is a must, someone IT savvy who is able to bring experience of improved information sharing.
