    About the Role

    The position helps the Group CFO office deliver its mandate with a focus on delivering and managing strategic finance initiatives, cross function initiatives, and assisting with dedicated management support and providing insights to the Group CFO office's other mandates.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Lead and support the execution of Group Office and group-wide finance initiatives as a change professional with a focus on project management and business advisory. Depends on specific business needs of each initiatives, such will include:

  • Manage strategic initiatives by undertaking all aspects of project management from planning, analysing project dependencies, risk and issues, organizing and conducting workshops, benefit tracking and overall project discipline in managing cost, timeline and deliverables by working with stakeholders
  • Develop robust governance, prepare and deliver appropriate regular management information and insights to business sponsors, stakeholders and steering committees to support decision making.
  • Act as a business analyst to gather, validate and develop business requirements, identify gaps, issues, and improvement opportunities, work with vendors to implement solutions and support the transition to establish change
  • Manage stakeholders within Finance and outside Finance, at Group Office and Business Units, to shape, execute and monitor the required changes.

    Ensure Finance and cross function initiatives are successfully communicated to the finance and wider community , where relevant, and senior stakeholders, where relevant.

    Support group-wide finance vision across the finance community, including but not limited to recommending effective change management to engage and implement necessary transformations, people initiatives or engagement initiatives.

    Assist in dedicated management support and provide insights to the Group CFO's other business needs.

    Minimum Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance / Actuarial or related field with ~12+ years working experiences with relevant project management or transformation experience
  • Solid knowledge of insurance, finance business processes and various finance system solutions
  • Transformation experience on large scale programmes and projects highly preferred
  • Regional exposure and experience of managing multiple business units preferred
  • Able to lead large scale projects and strategic initiatives independently, recognised project management accreditation and qualification from an external body would be desirable
  • Strategic mindset and solid stakeholders management
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Able to operate effectively in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Innovative and forward-thinking to anticipate needs from senior management
  • With the attitude of challenging status quo and strong influencing skills
