    We are looking for an individual who is passionate about data and excellent at problem solving to join our Data Science team within Cigna International Markets Data & Analytics. Our Data Science team develops and implements state-of-the-art classification and predictive models to solve problems identified by US Digital Acquisition and Engagement Analytics. For this role, the objective is to combine technical aptitude and a consultative approach to design, develop and deploy data analytics products which create values through implementations.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Institutionalize end-to-end data analytics development and implementation cycle to ultimately create values to the businesses
    • Work with US Digital Acquisition and Engagement Analytics to understand business problems and formulate the most appropriate data analytics approach
    • Employ state-of-the-data machine learning algorithms to develop and validate predictive / prescriptive analytics
    • Implement predictive / prescriptive analytics in the manner that their effects are trackable
    • Work with Data Engineering to keep abreast of data ingestion and data enrichment including first and third party data
    • Work with Data Management and Governance to ensure full compliance of data protection and Artificial Intelligence ethics.
    • Manage the entire predictive / prescriptive analytics lifecycle from model development to model power evaluation to model power monitoring.
    • Lead a team of 2 or 3 data scientists and analysts.

    Job Requirements:

    • Tertiary education in Data Science, Statistics, Actuary, Applied Mathematics
    • Knowledge and experience in supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms including but not limiting to regression, decision trees, gradient boosting, k-nearest neighbor, Naive Bayes classifier, deep learning, and natural language processing / understanding.
    • Knowledge in International Classification of Diseases (ICD)
    • Knowledge and experience in Python
    • Knowledge and experience in SQL and NoSQL
    • Experience in Cloud computing preferably Amazon Web Services, Sagemaker, Athena, Databricks, etc.
    • Strong communication skill in English; additional languages an advantage
