- Maintain project documentation, including technical specifications and data mappings to enhance the efficient use of data services
- Ensure the quality, integrity, and security of data throughout the entire data lifecycle, applying robust database concepts and data modelling expertise
- Investigate and analyze ETL pipeline, identifying and resolving performance issues, data inconsistencies, and system failures
- Assist and communicate with different business departments to design and build robust data models and dashboards
- Scripting in Databricks for data cleansing, data transformation, and data reconciliation
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Establishing data governance practices and ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability
- Assist data scientists on preparing data for machine learning and artificial intelligence projects
- Design and build new solution architecture on new requirements
- Bachelor or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or relevant disciplines
- At least 2-year experience with Data Engineering or Big Data Technologies, or Data Transformation, modeling, and equipped with data engineering/software engineering best practice knowledge
- At least 2-year experience with Azure cloud platform including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapses, Azure DevOps etc.
- At least 2-year experience in SQL and pyspark/Python
- Experience with spark, SQL database, and Azure DevOps configuration and optimization
- Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView or other visualization solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese
- Exposure to machine learning and artificial technology data preparation will be a bonus
- Knowledge in insurance sector will be a plus
