My client is a Stable, Corporate Bank Foreign Branch in Hong Kong. The finance department is now looking for a new Assistant Finance Manager or Finance Manager to support financial accounting and reporting duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Team Head of Finance Department
• Assist with preparation of month-end closing, financial disclosure, tax reporting related duties
• Support preparation and review of HKMA regulatory reporting returns
• Support daily accounting duties, including General Ledger, payments, and reconciliations work
• Ad hoc support duties related to accounting and finance function and related projects / system migration and implementation / UAT duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/finance or related
• 4+ years minimum experience in HKMA Regulatory reporting and financial reporting within banks
• Strong and near native level communications in Cantonese and English
• Self-starter, proactive, ability to work independently
