    Careerbuddy hiring for a client who is a pioneering B2B marketplace for used smartphones, connecting global electronic wholesalers with retail storefronts. Their platform, similar to a stock exchange for electronics, formalizes the second-hand market by matching buy and sell requests, providing real-time market prices, and ensuring transaction security.

    About the role..

    They are seeking a talented Sales Development Representative to proactively identify potential clients, initiate conversations, and qualify leads to create new business opportunities. This representative will be required to set appointments, follow up on leads, and track progress through the sales pipeline, ensuring alignment with sales goals.

    Key Responsibilities...

    • Sales responsibility: You will be required to prospect, generate, qualify, and follow up on leads; set appointments for the external sales team. You will also initiate lead/demand generation strategies through inbound/outbound sales and marketing campaigns.
    • Collaboration responsibility: You will be required to collaborate with sales, marketing, and leadership to develop lead generation strategies.
    • Research responsibility: You will be required to research and personalize outreach to target industries, companies, and decision-makers.
    • Client responsibility: You will manage lead and client activities using CRM systems and engage with leads to understand their needs and articulate how their services can address them.
    • USP responsibility: You will be required to sell their unique product offerings by highlighting its key features and benefits.
    • Leads responsibility: You will conduct discovery calls/meetings to qualify leads and assess their readiness for the sales process.
    • Database responsibility: You will maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of clients and prospects.
    • Industry responsibility: You will stay informed on offerings, industry trends, and market conditions to efficiently communicate and respond to inquiries.

    What your CV should highlight..

    • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university; post-graduate degree will be highly beneficial.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience as a sales development representative, preferably in e-commerce or B2B.
    • Knowledge of the online marketplace and e-commerce industry in Hong Kong.
    • Experience in electronics sales in Hong Kong.
    • Strong business judgment and relationship management skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce).
    • Analytical thinking, project management, and exceptional organizational skills.
    • Independent, tenacious idea development and ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
    • Excellent communication/presentation skills and relationship-building abilities.
    • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
    • Residency in Hong Kong.
