    Job Summary:

  • Reporting to Manager, Event, the role is responsible to plan, manage and execute all resort-initiated, resort-wide guest/media facing events, including y3rd party events that take place in the resort area.
  • Requires seamless coordination with different departments, and leads task forces discussion from ideation to execution in order to archive the desired outcomes. This job requires a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with different teams and vendors to uphold the business direction of the event.
  • Oversees the event planning, operationsand integration, connecting operational interfaces with 3rd party vendors and different internal partners to ensure the smooth running and maintain the best Disney quality on all aspects when managing events. Ensure proper alignment, share best practices, drive continuous improvement, innovation and efficiency in HKDL event management.
  • Roles and Responsibilities

  • Based on internal client needs, prepare business case and/or event briefs to internal parties
  • Champion meetings and develop varies plans to meet schedule and budget
  • Handle onsite coordination and drive rectification with different LOBs
  • Have experience in marketing, event production and management. Capabilities in orchestrating multi-tasks and coordination with different departments and vendors are also important.
  • Physically familiar with every area within the resort to ensure all opportunities on routing design and venue usage for events
  • Frequent communicate with internal partners, external vendors and even government bodies
  • Ability todetermine the most efficient solution to execute discussions among different teams and vendors.
  • Post-event evaluation and keep event log for future reference
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree with 5+ years of event management experience
  • Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or management
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English and Cantonese.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong multi-tasking, communications and presentation skills, time management and organizational skills, and strong ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
