Part-time Instructor - Hong Kong, 香港 - Vocational Training Council
描述
Major Duties: The appointee shall engage in teaching and related learning activities, support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities of the Department, and undertake academic and administrative support services
Requirements : The successful candidate should have a recognised higher diploma or equivalent qualification in horticulture, arboriculture, landscape management, environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, plant science, geography or relevant disciplines; with at least 6 years' professional and/or teaching experience at the of level of professional diploma in the related fields. He/she should have good interpersonal and communication skills, and high proficiency in English and preferably in Chinese, including Putonghua. Preference will be given to candidates with membership of professional institutions such as the International Society of Arboriculture. Proven records of linkage with industry or professional bodies would be an advantage.
Notes : (1) Candidates with a recognised Master's degree in the relevant disciplines may be considered for the post of Part-time Lecturer. (2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary. (3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. (4) The appointee will work on Chai Wan Campus.
