    We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Finance Manager.

    Principal Responsibilities

  • Have overview of entities' entire financial statements and be able to link business performance with commercial insights
  • Ensure timely submission of financial data as required by Group
  • Take part in the new product due diligence process and drive the most appropriate and practical booking methodology.This will involve interactions with other expert teams such as Group Accounting Policy ("GAP"), Operations, Risk, Business
  • Assess impact of new reporting or disclosure requirements, identify data source and test reliability of the data
  • Establish BAU processes and robust business and financial control frameworks
  • Project and streamline existing manual work or remove current limitation in support of increasing volume of disclosure requirements
  • Build and maintain positive and effective relationships with FA team, Businesses and other expert teams such as Product Control, Accounting Policy, ALCM, Operations, Risk and Tax
  • Influence and collaborate to drive achievement of any project goals and where required, escalate issues/risks in an effective way to ensure timely resolution
  • Able to deliver on agreed objectives satisfying customer's need
  • Define and develop a sound target operating model for the activities undertaken by FA team
  • Promote process effectiveness
  • Build robust oversight over the effectiveness of the control environment
  • Support year-end audit and ensure completion within timelines
  • Requirements
  • University graduate with a minimum of 10 years' experience in financial reporting
  • Possession of professional accounting qualification, CA, ACCA or CPA
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and other reporting requirements such as FINREP, GSIB, CE
  • A sound knowledge in the Bank's products and related reporting requirements / processes
  • Solid change management knowledge and experience in system implementation and process improvement projects
  • Be able to mobilise the team and drive for delivery
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Well organized, detail oriented and able to cope with tight deadlines
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
