    The Division of Public Policy at HKUST is seeking a high caliber to fill the position of Assistant Officer (Part-time), who will be responsible for the conceptualization, drafting, and submission of grant applications that align with organizational goals and comply with funding requirements. The appointee will also oversee and maintain an efficient progression of activities essential to the development and completion of high-quality grant applications; coordinate and manage logistics for project-related activities to ensure timely and effective execution of project milestones; and perform ad hoc and administrative tasks as directed by the project lead to support the overall success of the project.

    Applicants should have a master's degree in relevant disciplines under humanities and social sciences. Preference will be given to candidates with a research-oriented master's degree from a reputable university. Candidates are expected to demonstrate ability to publish academic articles in high-quality journals. The ideal candidates should have a good command of written English and be capable to produce clear, compelling and well-structured contents, which is crucial for drafting grant applications. A keen interest in the interdisciplinary research, demonstrating a broader understanding and innovative approach to the subject matter, is highly desirable.Having a proven track record of publication, such as thesesor publicationswritten in English, peer-reviewed and/or high-ranking academic journals, would be an advantage.     Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave and medical benefits will be provided where applicable.
