    Private Wealth Management (PWM) ASIA
    PWM secures, develops, and manages relationships with high-net-worth individuals, their families, family offices and foundations. PWM assists clients with building and preserving their financial wealth by creating and implementing long-term asset allocation within the context of each client's particular risk tolerance, and by providing access to innovative investment ideas and opportunities. PWM professionals develop customized investment strategies and offer a full array of wealth management products and services, including private banking and trust company services.

    Our Asia PWM Engineering team is seeking an experienced professional to provide first line application support, and drive regulatory and discretionary cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with PWM and firmwide Engineering teams to plan, manage and implement solutions. As technical analysis is critical to the role it would best suit a current developer or technical architect looking to extend their skill set. While this role will be based in Hong Kong our PWM Asia Engineering team collaborate to cover Asia region (primarily China). The role affords the opportunity to develop deep business and technical understanding of private wealth.

    Job Summary and Responsibilities - PWM Product Manager Engineering
    The role includes (but is not limited to):
    • Working in close partnership with Business, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Engineering.
    • Analysis (business and technical) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Coordinating and representing regional input to global initiatives - requirements review, testing, signoffs.
    • Defining and tracking key project delivery metrics (OKRs, measures of success). Communicating status to a diverse senior leadership audience on a regular basis
    • Developing product subject matter expertise to ensure engineering solutions are adhering to global design principals, uplifting user experience, and aligning with regional and global roadmaps.
    • Providing first line application support by identifying severity and impact, resolving, or escalating to the owning application team, and providing accurate and timely communication to stakeholders.
    • Identifying inefficiency and breaks in business process and systems through production support and translating issues to strategic uplift opportunities.
    Basic Qualifications / Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
    • Understanding of and experience in technology concepts and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) fundamentals.
    • 4-8 years technical experience - application development, architecture design or technology project delivery, with a focus on cross-asset class products, trade flows, risk management, and regional regulations.
    • Excellent analytical skills to distill complex issues - frequently working with incomplete information.
    • Evidence of experience in risk management and preferably regulatory in prior roles - both critical aspects.
    • Detail oriented with ability to communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
    • Track record of engagement with a diverse group of regional and global stakeholders.
    • Commitment to excellence, a commercial mindset, and a desire to deliver quantifiable benefits.
    • Mandarin (spoken and written) is required. Cantonese not essential but a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications / Experience
    • Background or a strong interest in wealth management.
    • Experience in working as part of a global team.
