- Configure and install network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS.
- Perform regular network maintenance and system upgrades to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Adhere to established configuration and change management policies to guarantee awareness and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve complex issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in hands-on network engineering.
- Hold CCNP certification or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued).
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of network protocols, including IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS, as well as the OSI or TCP/IP model.
- Funding for postgraduate education and professional qualifications like CIPD.
