- Be responsible for handling trade surveillance and monitoring for the global market activities to detect and prevent potential market abuse, insider trading, and other regulatory violations
- Ensure that the surveillance program adheres to the firmwide and industry standards
- Utilize data analytics and quantitative techniques to identify patterns and trends that may indicate potential risks or non-compliance
- Work closely with Business, Enterprise Risk, IT, and other control functions to ensure the on-going development of the surveillance program
- Assist in driving any projects and initiatives catering to regulatory changes and developments
- A relevant degree in Business/Finance related subjects
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in the compliance field within the corporate investment banking space
- Solid experience in market surveillance space
- Good experience in utilizing Actimize/Bloomberg platforms
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing organization
- Any prior knowledge, passion or working experience from a crypto/digital asset business is advantageous
