Position Overview

The SEA Digital Commerce Manager is responsible for driving various digital / online commerce business activities in partnership with in-country retail leads, APAC cross-functional teams, and APAC Digital Commerce shared service teams. This includes strategizing, planning, developing and executing traffic/sales generating campaigns and new business launch initiatives across multiple 3rd party partner

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Drive the Business & Achieve Targets

·Build strong digital wholesale or concession business plans with key Pure Play and Bricks & Clicks partners to drive digital sales in the region

·Achieve/exceed each platform’s P&L targets as planned. Deliver sales, gross profit and operating expense targets per annual budget goals

·In partnership with cross-functional teams, develop and execute compelling marketing plans or promotional activities that are in line with company values and brand guidelines

·Understand product life cycle; end-to-end manage physical/digital product flow to each digital commerce platform. Understand key product strategies of each brand by season and develop/execute strategic marketing activities to drive engagement, traffic, and impact conversion across multiple markets/sites

·Understand consumer purchase journey; recommend ways to optimize conversion and improve customer experience

·Project manage and launch new digital initiatives – brand-building or commercial driven – with the objectives to accelerate digital sales penetration in SEA region, acquire new customers, reach younger generation, and elevate the brand

·Deliver successful campaigns; launch projects on-schedule as planned

Market Intelligence & Reporting

·Monitor competitive activities and conduct market research/analysis to derive market insights

·Compile and present competitive trends and insights with identified opportunities (strong written & verbal communication needed)

·Identify new digital commerce opportunities within existing and/or new platforms

·Analyze and monitor daily, weekly and monthly KPIs; develop business performance review / business strategy decks to be presented to the senior management

·Identify challenges, issues and present ideas and solutions to mitigate any business risk

Manage Relationships / Develop Partnerships

·Operate with honesty and integrity fostering quality long-term partnerships with our internal & external partners

·Provide on-going marketing/branding guidelines to wholesale online partners to support their accelerated omni-channel growth initiatives

·Manage operational vendor relationships

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

·Minimum 7yrs retail business experience with at least 3 – 5yrs’ ecommerce business experience (multinational company experience preferred)

·High level of understanding in the complexities of ecom system architecture, day to day operations, and detail-oriented nature of the business

·Excellent organization, communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills, with data-driven, customer-centered mindset

·Ability to think proactively, creatively solve problem, prioritize, and escalate issues when needed

·Self-starter, responsible, ability to work independently with minimal supervision

·Ability to multitask/handle multiple projects with tight deadlines

·Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally

·Strong communication and analytical skills

·Positive, collaborative, adaptive, resourceful team player

·Fluent in English

·Experience with Lazada, Shopee, Zalora platforms and understanding of SEA markets highly recognized

·Advance proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, Word
