We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Legal Counsel.


Principal responsibilities

Assist the Head of Legal, Hang Seng Investment Management (HSVM)

  • to provide expert and professional legal advice and support to Hang Seng Investment Management Limited .
  • to evaluate and keep up to date with laws and regulations of those jurisdiction which HSVM has presence in.
  • to ensure relevant HSVM/Hang Seng Bank and group policies and procedures are complied with.
  • to ensure legal documentation issued by HSVM is up-to-date.
    • Qualifications

    Requirements

  • Qualified Lawyer with relevant post qualification experience for over 5 years
  • Experienced and confident practitioner
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Hong Kong laws and regulations with respect to personal data and competition
  • Ability to spot legal risk and resolve issues by taking into account commercial consideration
  • Communicate effectively (both written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills
  • Stamina and ability to work under pressure
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
