The Business Development team is seeking an experienced professional to drive creative sourcing strategies to identify future talent for the innovative Point72 Academy program. Key responsibilities include working with Business Development colleagues and Academy Leadership to define talent needs, sourcing a diverse candidate pool through a range of strategies, driving effective interview processes and managing the offer and onboarding processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Source, interview and recommend candidates for Point72 Academy opportunities
  • Develop and execute a campus recruitment strategy to drive top talent into the Academy program
  • Be innovative in attracting talent across HK, SG, JP, China, Korea (and potentially other markets) by developing and hosting branding events and mixers
  • Create a strong university presence by hosting coffee chats, leading information sessions, connecting with school faculty/staff, and managing candidate leads with local universities
  • Facilitate internship program events, information sessions, interview processes, and other Academy recruitment programming
  • Be inquisitive and analytical, able to analyze situations, and make value-added recommendations in regards to developing a campus recruiting strategy for the Asia pacific region.
  • Develop key relationships with university professors, career centers, student led associations, internal stakeholders across departments in Human Resources, Professional Development, Academy, Investment Talent Development, etc.
  • Effectively manage the candidate experience from early engagement to placement stage
  • Track intern feedback and lead intern conversion processes
  • Track recruitment metrics to report the efficacy of recruitment efforts
  • Partner with Academy Business Development colleagues, Academy leadership, and Portfolio Managers to understand and deliver on talent needs
  • Work with HR and Legal to coordinate contracts, Visas, and housing for Academy hires when necessary
  • Complete special projects, as needed

  • What’s Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-3+ years of recruiting experience; campus recruitment preferred
  • Have native or near native language fluency in English and Chinese, Japanese and/or Korean
  • Have a passion for identifying the brightest talent and being a part of a growing business and establishing key relationships
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to think creatively about candidate sourcing and engagement
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement when handling a high volume of queries
  • Capability to develop strong working relationships with others across the firm and externally including but not limited to: candidates, partners, recruiters, other industry professionals
  • Operate with a high level of discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information and commitment to highest ethical standards
  • Ability to anticipate work, multi-task, and prioritize assignments
  • Highly organized, strong ability to multi task, and detail oriented
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word required
  • Investment banking experience, financial modeling skills a plus
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze data
