Description:

Two Post-doctoral Fellow positions are immediately available in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The appointees will develop a lab-on-a-chip system for biomolecular detection and quantification.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in bioengineering, biochemistry, mechanical or electrical engineering. Expertise and experience in the following areas are highly desirable: Microfluidic device design and fabrication; Biomedical system instrumentation, automation, and integration; Optical system for bioimaging and biodetection. Hands-on experience in molecular biology, PCR and bioassays is required. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
