Our client is a growing banking platform, to cope with their expansion plan, they are now hiring the Senior Operational Risk Manager.

The job description is as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Implement operational risk management plans
• Review on KRIs and KCSA from all departments and make recommendation for improvement
• Review and conduct risk assessment on new products/services and outsourcing activities from operational and reputation risk perspective
• Supervise the implementation of thematic review and branch visit to rectify deficiencies in operation if found
• Review and update operational risk framework, reporting system and related policies and procedure
• Prepare statutory and management reporting
• Handle inquires and liaise with regulatory bodies on the related areas
• Steer for ad hoc project or investigation in relation to operational or reputation risks when required
• Conduct training on operational risk related topics
• Review and analyze the operational risk incidents / reports submitted by the departments

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Laws or related disciplines
• 6-8 years relevant experience in operational risk management, preferably with good knowledge in audit, workflow analysis, procedural manual and business continual plan and 4-6 years from banking / financial sector
• Well-verse in HKMA, SFC and other banking related legislations and guidelines
• Solid exposures in establishing rules & regulation, procedural manual for operational risk management
• Excellent prioritization, organization and people skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Operational Risk Manager
