Description:We are a department which values Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and is committed to realizing the firms D&I ambition which is an integral part of our global Conduct and Ethics Standards Lead the CS Onshore China Initiatives across different entities with a focus on the security JV and the Locally Incorporated Bank (LIB); Represent CRO in the new onshore business initiatives to collaborate with various front-to-back business partners and drive the process in an efficient and effective way; Coordinate with APAC CRO and China entities CROs to play a critical role in driving CS Onshore China strategy in a risk focused way, including but not limited to coordinate functional risk approvals to new businesses, provide risk related solutions, design and implement risk frameworks to onshore entities, and offer strategic-thinking and thought leadership; Liaise and coordinate with the respective risk managers onshore China and regional management team to implement the setups for each risk field for the security JV and the LIB. Timely identify issues and road blockers and report them to the right business partners and in the right forums. Provide regular project status update to CRO management and CRO New Business. Responsibilities of this role could grow and expand as the onshore initiatives continue to evolve. Bachelors degree At least 7-10 years financial sector experience and/or project management/consulting experience, preferably in a risk management or audit role in an investment or large commercial bank, accountancy/consultancy firm. Outstanding communication skills. Proven ability to handle difficult conversations and build consensus to achieve a positive outcome Exceptional problem solving capabilities. Ability to pick up new concepts quickly, analyze, and utilise internal SMEs experience and know how to resolve problems which are not of his/her own expertise. Relevant regulatory knowledge and understanding of risk management will be a plus Organizational skills and ability to challenge quality/consistency of documents Ability to work under-pressure and highly self-motivated. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written skills) required in order to liaise with the team and business partners Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc are a strong plus.
