Our client is a well-known retail and commercial bank that provides a full range of financial services including personal banking, asset wealth management, investment management etc. Currently, they are hiring a Finance Manager to be in-charge of the financial reporting team. You will sit under the Hong Kong Finance headquarter.

about the role

You will..

• manage a small team performing financial reporting and month-end closing process
• handle annual and interim statutory reports, conduct financial analysis relating to the Bank’s performance
• ensure smooth delivery of intercompany reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies
• be in-charge of financial and management reports for shareholders, senior management or HKMA meetings
• perform performance analysis, explain significant trends in relation to the Bank’s financial health status
• liaise with internal and external auditors for annual or interim audit

skills and experience required

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Qualified member of HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent
• At least 7-8 years’ experience in banking financial reporting, including 3 years’ supervisory role managing a team
• Solid understanding of month-end procedures, financial reporting under the Bank regulations
• Ability to manage a team and deliver quality reports in timely manner
• Responsible, highly organized and ability to work under pressure
• Good command in English and Chinese
