Sales Development Manager

Investment Services - Sales Development Department

Hang Seng's Investment Services business offers a full spectrum of investment products and services to both private and corporate investors. Our customers can invest in over 400 investment funds managed by reputable international fund houses. The funds cover different asset classes, including global equities, bonds, money markets and foreign exchange markets. We also provide asset management services for retirement schemes, institutional investors and charitable organisations.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Distribution Strategy and Marketing Teamas Sales Development Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop and implement distribution strategies to promote investment products/services via appropriate distribution channels
  • Develop business plans and product marketing strategies to drive Investment Products and Services to meet business targets
  • Work closely with different product line owners to launch competitive offers and promotions, and conduct evaluation & review to meet different market segment needs
  • Identify the needs of potential customers and to coordinate with internal functions to design/ implement promotion offers for them
  • Evaluate the operating efficiency of different distribution strategies and promotion offers and make recommendations for management review
  • Qualifications


  • University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry
  • Passes in HKSI licensing examinations preferred
  • Experience in managing Investment products and distributing through multi-channels
  • Strong self-motivation, detail-minded and has the ability to work independently
  • Good project management skill
  • Advocate of openness, able to create a cohesive teamwork and inspire others
  • Ability to bring divergent ideas to create new and valuable solutions
  • Resilience to stress, able to unlock full potential and prepare for the future of work
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good in both written English and Chinese, proficiency in Excel application an advantage
