Job Description:

Report to the Director, HR Operations & International Mobility, Asia, this position is responsible for driving the Sun Life talent culture and strategy including managing the end-to-end workforce planning, recruitment and new hire on boarding activities. Also, he/she will support the work of HR Operations, HR business partnering as well as other strategic initiatives as assigned. 

Job description

  • As a HR Business Partner, provide value adding HR advisory to leaders in the Regional Office, including on recruitment activities (on/off boarding), manpower planning, internal mobility, talent development, employee relations, performance management and all people-related agendas
  • Act as an ambassador of the Sun Life brand in all interactions with external partners; collect and analyse hiring trends and market intelligence to refine sourcing, attraction, assessment and selection processes
  • Explore and develop innovative talent sourcing and attraction channels
  • External Partner relationship management
  • Ensure all recruiting and hiring activities are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures
  • Act as the BCP Coordinator and responsible for updating the departmental BIA and BC plan
  • Work closely with HR Subject Matter Experts to ensure smooth implementation of different HR initiatives
  • Take lead on assigned HR projects

  • Naturally curious and have a passion for delivering high impact people agendas
  • Experience in data collection, analyses, implementation of policies / programs / practices to drive employment engagement and productivity
  • Knowledge of the latest development in various HR practices and the ability to apply this in consulting related assignments
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Able to work multi-tasking independently, leverage digital tools and an agile mindset
  • Well-versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and relevant legislations
  • Proactive, innovative and highly self-motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Familiar with MS Office applications. Conversant with Workday is a plus
  • Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills
  • Innovative on one hand and detail oriented on the other
  • Good Planning and Organizing skills
  • Qualifications

  • University graduate in any discipline
  • Solid working experience that involve working closely on people issues
  • Experience in data collection, analyses, implementation of policies / programs / practices to drive employment engagement and productivity
  • Experience in running focus groups, workshops, presentations F2F and virtually
  • HR experience would be an advantage
