Project Title: CUHKJockey Club HOPE 4 Care Programme (Mechanical Engineering/ElectronicEngineering)

Applicants should have (i)a PhD degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or otherrelated disciplines, plus at least one year’s post-qualification experience inthe related field (for Postdoctoral Fellow); OR a Master's degree in theabovementioned discipline, plus at least four years' post-qualificationexperience in the related field (for Research Associate); OR a Bachelor’s/Master'sdegree in the abovementioned discipline, preferably with at least one year'spost-qualification experience (for Research Assistant); (ii) strongself-motivation, a good sense of responsibility and problem-solving skills; (iii)good communication and writing skills; and (iv) proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD,Eagle, TINA for mechanical or electrical designs. Applicants with experience incontrol algorithm design, signal processing, and data analytics using LabVIEW,MATLAB, Python, SPSS are preferred. Fresh graduates will also be considered. Thosewith less experience may be considered for appointment as Junior ResearchAssistant. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

The appointee(s) will(a) assist in project as assigned; (b) develop new, effective and easy-to-userehabilitative technology; (c) improve hardware product designs based oncustomer's feedbacks; (d) modify control algorithm to meet the needs of the endusers; (e) conduct clinical trial with unimpaired subjects, persons afterstroke and persons with disability; and (f) analyse data, write documents,papers and reports.

Appointment will bemade on a contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performanceand mutual agreement.
