Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfils its purpose of connecting HSBC’s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a  Senior Performance Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Provide performance measurement and analysis services to other departments in HK and other countries in Asia Pacific, such as Investment, Marketing, Client Services, Wholesales and Institutional Business.
  • Excellent team player and motivator with flexible attitude
  • Ensure the line manager is appropriately advised on material performance issues
  • Ability to interpret business imperatives in situations involving a high degree of complexity.
  • Deliver fund and benchmark performance and attribution analysis to fund managers, client directors, and other stakeholders including those in other countries in Asia
  • Maintain and ensure the integrity of performance and benchmark data on the performance system.
  • Provide support to GIPS compliance initiatives.
  • Carry out testing of new along with enhancement of the performance measurement system.
  • Qualifications

    Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in asset management or a related industry
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent Excel skill, VBA and SQL skill
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
  • To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Hong Kong is required.
