Responsibilities




  • Provide day-to-day first line end-user support of Asia regions

  • Work with Global support unit, get in contact with IT colleagues and users from other overseas countries

  • Handle incoming calls and service tickets regarding user enquiries in professional manner as well as procurement of reported incidents via ticketing system

  • Participate in infrastructure projects and implementation work

  • Pro-actively monitor and review infrastructure components

  • Liaise with Global team to diagnose and report on problems

  • Willing to work outside office hours (onsite & standby)

  • Occasionally business travel is required and willingness to long-term delegation to Europe for training 3 months or plus



  • Requirements




  • Form 5 or above

  • Minimum 2 years experience in IT Helpdesk & Infrastructure areas

  • Solid knowledge in first-line user and technical support with strong skill in trouble-shooting and soft-skill in handling users a must

  • Hands-on experience in using Citrix, Microsoft Office 2013, Windows desktop is a must

  • Knowledge in application Cargowise and TMS knowledge is a plus

  • Knowledge in ITIL processes, FTP, SMTP, VPN, Lync (Skype for Business), Linux administration preferred

  • Knowledge in email system especially MS Exchange is an advantage

  • Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese, knowledge in Mandarin or German is a plus

  • Meticulous and methodical in creating solutions with strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • High motivated, independent, self-starter with good team player
